The Six Week Weightlifting Technique Class provides participants hands-on, practical instruction to perform the snatch and the clean and jerk from Senior International Coach and Olympian Cara Heads Slaughter in a workshop format.
The classes are held weekly at our training center. Emphasizing proper technique as the critical foundation for learning the Olympic lifts, this class is ideal for athletes new to using the snatch and the clean and jerk. The class is also great for experienced lifters and coaches to identify and correct bad habits and become more efficient in the lifts to improve speed, power and performance.
The technique class is limited to six participants, allowing Coach Cara considerable time to work with each participant individually.
